Water Reflections

I wanted to have something to show from my time in lockdown. Friends planned projects and or jobs they wanted to complete but hadn’t had time previously. After careful consideration I came up with mine, or should say ours. My working cocker spaniel did not like going in water, whatever the depth, as it meant getting her feet wet. I felt this meant she was missing out on so much fun and also a point of embarrassment for all her ancestors who proudly called themselves working cocker spaniels. I was going to be the one to help her discover the joys of water and mud. Friends warned me I would regret it.

It was during these times I noted the beautiful light coning through the trees reflecting on the water. I noted how varied these images could be and how the colours and shapes varied depending on the stream beds, over hanging branches, and from the angle of light.

Narla and I now had a project each. Mine to capture the images, the reflections provided and Narla to experience the joy of mud. (My friends were right there are times I regret it).
